In 2 hours and 30 minutes, with no prior skills or experience, you will create – with your own hands, from picassiette porcelain/earthenware fragments – a personal and finished mosaic, which you will be proud to keep, display, or sign as your own, and which will carry a fragment of meaning that is uniquely yours: a memory, an emotion, a message you have chosen to inscribe.
2h30, no more, no less. Enough time to truly immerse yourself, without devouring your day or requiring complicated organization – a real moment for yourself, that fits into an afternoon.
A guaranteed achievable format (20×20 square, 20cm round or heart). No daunting blank page, no risk of embarking on an overly ambitious project and getting stuck: the shape is designed so that you leave with a finished piece, whatever your starting level.
Real picassiette earthenware, not uniform tesserae. Each fragment already has a story – dishes that have lived, patterns and colors found nowhere else. You are not composing with new, impersonal material: you are giving something a second life, and your creation bears its trace.
Round or triangular tesserae, your choice. Your mosaic will reflect you from the very first gestures – not an imposed model, but real freedom of composition.
A personal message, if you wish. A word, a date, a name – your piece can carry meaning, not just color.
